Twenty-ninth Senior Officials Meeting (SOM-29) of NEASPEC will be organized on 25-26 November 2026 in Moscow, Russian Federation.
SOM is an annual occasion to review the NEASPEC activities, discuss strengthening cooperation and formulate new initiatives. The upcoming SOM-29 is expected to review all the progress made in 2026, to plan for 2027.

The meeting will review the state of the Core Fund and project-based funds of NEASPEC. Member States are invited to announce intended cash and/or in-kind contributions for the new cycle 2026-2030.
The meeting will invite the member State hosting the 30th Senior Officials Meeting (SOM-30) to inform on provisional plans for SOM-30 organization.
The report on the meeting consists of two major parts: (i) the conclusions and recommendations, and (ii) the proceedings of the Senior Officials Meeting. The first part (i.e. conclusions and recommendations) will be adopted at SOM-29, and the second part (i.e., proceedings) will be prepared by the secretariat after the meeting and will be circulated to the member States for review and approval.
