Third Meeting of Science and Policy Committee of North-East Asia Clean Air Partnership
Following the adoption of the NEACAP Work Plan 2021-2025 by NEASPEC SOM-24, the 3rd NEACAP Science and Policy Committee Meeting (SPC-3) was organized virtually at 14:00-18:00hrs (GMT+9), Friday, 30 April 2021.
The SPC-3 discussed the topic and modality of “Policy and Technology Cooperation (PTC)”, which was identified as the priority area of Category I and the only priority area for the NEACAP Work Plan 2021-2025. The Meeting also discussed the recommendation on the priority areas of Category II.

- Introduction of participating SPC members
The Committee will elect a chair and a vice-chair who will hold office until the next regular meeting and be eligible for re-election.
The Committee will adopt the provisional agenda with changes as may be necessary.
The discussion will be based on a paper prepared by the secretariat, and proposals from the SPC members shared with other members, preferably, prior to the meeting.
Technical centers are encouraged to propose activities to be led and/or implemented by the respective center.
The Committee will exchange views and formulate its recommendations to the NEASPEC SOM-25 to be held in late 2021.
The Committee will discuss the tentative date and provisional agenda of the next regular meeting, and may consider holding ad hoc meeting(s) intersessionaly if need.
The SPC members may raise any other issues not covered under the items mentioned above.
Other participants may share their views and information relevant to the meeting and NEACAP.
The Report of the Meeting will be prepared and circulated by the secretariat to SPC members after the meeting for review and adoption.
The Chair and the secretariat will deliver closing statements, respectively.
