International Blue Sky Conference

Held in celebration of the International Day of Clean Air for blue skies, the 2026 Blue Sky Symposium will take place on 7 September 2026 at Seoul Dragon City Hotel in the Republic of Korea. Jointly organized by the ESCAP Subregional Office for East and North-East Asia, serving as the Secretariat of the North-East Asia Clean Air Partnership (NEACAP); the National Air Emission Inventory and Research Center (NAIR) of the Republic of Korea; and the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), serving as the Secretariat for the Acid Deposition Monitoring Network in East Asia (EANET), the symposium will bring together policymakers, researchers, technical experts and international organizations to exchange knowledge and strengthen regional cooperation on particulate matter and ozone pollution. Discussions will focus on integrated air quality management, advances in monitoring and modelling, artificial intelligence applications, and science-based policy responses for cleaner air in North-East Asia.
